Eric is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s School of Arts and Sciences in the field of economics. He specializes in heterodox and micro economic applications. As an economist, he uses his expertise to enhance the conditions of the community by providing education on practical implementations in economic theory. He served as the lead financial columnist for All Black Everything Magazine and created easily digestible pathways to achieve generational wealth through financial literacy. His work was also featured in the Urban League’s 2023 book “From Redlining to Chalk Lines: The Costs of Economic Injustice”
Eric currently serves as the Director of Economic Development for the Black Economic Union of Greater Kansas City. Those duties include: securing investment opportunities, policy advocacy, business expansion and creating workforce development programs. As a lifelong Kansas Citian, he is dedicated to bridging the economic and social divide within the metropolitan area.
